The Wolfsonian-FIU
Housed in a spectacular 1927 Mediterranean-Revival building on Miami’s South Beach, the Wolfsonian is a museum, library, and research center that uses historical objects to illustrate the power of art and design and tell the story of social, historical, and technological changes that have transformed our world.

Theatre
The FIU Theatre Department stages four Mainstage Season shows each year at the Herbert and Nicole Wertheim Performing Arts Center. In addition, Theatre offers Second Stage and Student Theatre Lab productions, a New Plays Festival featuring works written by students and the Alternate Theatre Project in the summer with faculty and student initiated productions.
Music
The FIU School of Music offers an exciting year-round calendar of musical performances featuring its ensemble in residence, the Amernet String Quartet and the FIU Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Grzegorz Nowak of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. In addition, FIU Music is home the FIU Latin Jazz Band and a Charanga Ensemble led by renowned flutist Nestor Torres.
